Ya Girl Renae Here! I just uploaded a video about the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food smoothie spot.

It all began when I decided to satisfy my craving by ordering from Tropical Smoothie through the Uber Eats app. I chose the option to pick up my order in person, sending a friend to the restaurant to collect my food. At the time, the restaurant wasn’t bustling with customers, but there were a few people patiently waiting for their orders as well.

The situation took an unexpected turn when the young lady at the counter handed over the food bag to my friend. After returning to the car, both myself and my friend eagerly opened the bag, only to discover that the contents were not what they had ordered. The disappointment was palpable, and I immediately instructed my friend to return to the restaurant and request the correct order.

Here’s where things got a bit messy – Myself and my friend had already handled the food, which presented a hygiene concern. Upon our return to the restaurant, we were asked to confirm our identity to ensure we were indeed the intended recipients of the order. I showed the Uber Eats app on my phone to verify my identity, and that’s when the truth came to light. It turned out that the restaurant staff had made a significant error. Rather than discarding the incorrect order, that I and my friend were picking through, they had given it to an elderly couple. I was understandably frustrated by the mix-up, and I didn’t take it lightly.

In a bid to address the issue, I contacted the corporate office to report the unfortunate incident. I made it clear that I had no intention of revisiting that particular Tropical Smoothie location. The incident occurred at the address 1101 34th Street N, Suite A, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. They literally gave the food we were breathing over and touched with our hands to the elderly couple. How Nasty is that shit!🤬 That could have been anyone’s mom or dad, grandparents etc. At the time Covid was really bad.

In my video, I passionately urged my followers and potential patrons of this Tropical Smoothie branch to exercise caution. I recommend closely monitoring the preparation of your order and, if possible, staying inside the restaurant to ensure that everything goes smoothly. I emphasize that my experience had been far from pleasant and I encourage all my viewers to watch the accompanying video for all the details.

While my experience was undoubtedly frustrating, it serves as a reminder that even in the age of convenient food delivery apps, mistakes can happen. It also highlights the importance of vigilance when it comes to checking your order, especially if you’re sending someone else to pick it up.
